Frequently Asked Questions
What if I lose my glow ball?
Each group will receive 1 ball for each player + 1 spare ball for the team
-Example: Group of 4 will receive 5 glow balls
Extra balls can be purchased, the night of the tournament, on the beverage cart or at the clubhouse for $10 each
How do the glow balls work?
The glow balls are LED and light up when activated by light (flashlight or light on smart phone works). The ball will stay activated until you use your light to turn it off.
Can I rent a cart?
NO. Night Golf tournaments are WALKING ONLY.
Will the beverage cart be on the course?
YES! The beverage cart will be out on the course, but staying at the 6th tee box (not driving around).
Is this tournament a Scramble?
YES! The tournament is a scramble.
Definition of a SCRAMBLE: In a “Scramble” format the players or designated team captain decide after each shot which one the best shot is. Each player on the team plays their next shot from that spot; within one club length no closer to the hole. The group then plays this way until the ball is holed out. The group takes a score at the end of each hole based on the single best shots from each position on that hole.
Is it a shotgun start?
YES! Each team will be assigned a hole to start on. There will be two teams on each hole, labeled Team A and Team B. Team A will tee off first and then, when out of hitting range, Team B will tee off.
Example: Team 3A -Will start at hole 3 and tee off first.
How many teams are in the tournament?
There are 18 teams of 4 in the tournament.
Is the tournament SOLD OUT?
Not yet :)
Do I have to wear a costume?
A costume is not required to play, but is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED! Be creative, have fun, and get a chance to win an awesome prize!!
Basic Course Rules
Any alcohol that is drank on the course, needs to be purchased from the course! There are no exceptions to this rule. This is not only a course rule, but a state law. If anyone is found with alcohol that we do not sell, they will be asked to leave immediately with no refund! This is for the sake of the course preserving its license with the OLCC, so that our golfers do have the benefit of enjoying a "cold one" while golfing. You are more than welcome to bring any non-alcoholic beverages or snacks with you on the course! The beverage cart will also be on the 6th tee box for your convenience!
Pace of Play -The time to play the course should be right at 2 hours. This is typically a fully booked tournament, so we expect it to be a little bit long, but excessively long. With this being am 9-hole tournament, the soonest we would be finished would be 9pm. Please do your best to keep up with the group in front of you.
Only paid players are allowed on the course included in the foursome participating. No walkalongs or spectators allowed for this tournament.
